GenesisCare delivers treatment to people with cancer and heart disease. They’re the largest provider of cancer and cardiac services in Australia, and have cancer treatment centres in the United Kingdom, Spain and are expanding into China. They lead and participate in many clinical trials.
The organisation employs more than 2,500 highly trained healthcare professionals and support staff across Australia, Europe and China. It treats more than 160,000 people a year in more than 130 locations. There are 13 cancer centres in the UK, 21 in Spain and 33 in Australia, with more than 30 new centres under development. They offer cardiology and sleep services at more than 80 locations across Australia.
The company was founded by CEO Dan Collins in Brisbane, Australia in 2005, and is today owned by doctors and employees, together with leading private equity fund, KKR, and China’s largest hospital operator, China Resources Group.
The company is head-quartered in Sydney, Australia with major operations in Europe and senior leadership teams in Hong Kong and Beijing.
